KELLOGG USA INTRODUCES KELLOGG’S® NUTRI-GRAIN® YOGURT BARS

Battle Creek, MI, February 28, 2002 - Yogurt lovers rejoice! Breakfast just got better. Kellogg USA introduces Kellogg’s® Nutri-Grain®Yogurt Cereal Bars, the first cereal bars to feature a creamy yogurt filling, making them the perfect on-the-go breakfast solution.

New Nutri-Grain Cereal Yogurt Bars feature the same whole grain crust as regular Nutri-Grain® bars but with a creamy yogurt filling in three flavors: strawberry, blueberry and vanilla. They can be found on supermarket shelves next to other Nutri-Grain products. Nutri-Grain Cereal Yogurt Bars do not need refrigeration because the filling is made with all-natural non-fat yogurt powder. They are low in fat, an excellent calcium source and contain nine essential nutrients.

Nutri-Grain®Cereal Yogurt Bars will be available nationwide in late March for a suggested retail price of $3.19 per eight-count box. They represent the first major Nutri-Grain product innovation since the 1998 Nutri-Grain Twists® launch.
